MIELOGOS is a literary prize for Symbiotic Authorship. It recognizes outstanding literature created through sustained human–AI creative relation — with literature first, creative privacy intact and institutional responsibility kept human.

Why MIELOGOS exists.

Writers are already questioning, revising, resisting, translating and developing literary work through sustained interaction with artificial systems.

MIELOGOS treats that practice neither as a technological novelty nor as a lesser form of authorship awaiting permission from older institutions. It creates a serious literary field in which work can be recognized on its own terms.

Recognition

Longlist. Shortlist. Winner.

Recognition attaches to the literary work. In each 2027 category, MIELOGOS may recognize up to 12 Longlisted works, up to 6 Shortlisted works and a maximum of 1 Winner. These are caps, not quotas.

Longlist

A substantive form of literary recognition, with up to twelve works per category.

Shortlist

Up to six works per category, receiving deeper literary consideration.

Winner

Maximum one per category. A category may conclude with no Winner.
